Welcome to SOUNDS R US, where the rhythm of the past meets the excitement of today! My love for music ignited at an early age, fueled by the sounds of Radio London, Radio One, and Radio Luxemburg. The vibrant Soul and Funk genres the 70s and 80s have always captured my heart. In 1986, I took my first step into the DJ world as the resident DJ at the Pickwick Public House in Charlton, spinning vinyl on a Citronic deck. Soon after, I launched "SOUNDS R US" after supporting my friend’s mobile disco, "Sounds Waves," across South East London and North East Kent. Over the years, I've had the joy of DJing at countless weddings, engagement parties, and birthdays throughout and the South East. My journey also includes memorable stints at The Rat and Par in Bexleyheath and the Old Tigers Head in Lee Green. One of my proud moments was DJing the opening night at the Love Shack nightclub in Lewisham, sharing the stage with the UK Bee Gees. In 2022, I even had the thrill of competing on Radio 2’s Pop Master in 2022 and greatest hits radio with ken bruce in 2024 At SOUNDS R US, where every event is a celebration music and memories.
